Level 1: Sleep Course for Therapists.        

 

An Introduction to SLEEP for Therapists

If you are treating stress, promoting relaxation or general well being then you will understand the importance of good sleep.

You will have probably come across clients who have sleep problems such as: difficulty falling asleep, difficulty maintaining sleep and un-refreshing sleep.

If you would you like to understand more about Sleep and learn from 3 UK sleep experts what advice you can give to complement your treatments then you will be interested in attending this course.

o       Introduction to the biology of sleep.

o       Types of sleep complaints, common sleep disorders & how to recognise them.

o       How to assess your client. Taking a sleep history.

o       Advice & the promotion of sleep.

This course is not aimed at medical professionals but it will deliver (in an informal and digestible style) information and practical skills which you can take away and use in your own practice. Resource pack and certificate of attendance included.
